Moogerah Lake House #3 is the latest brand new house in the collection of all 5 holiday houses privately owned and run by the Moogerah lake House Group of holiday rentals.  After servicing guests for over 5 years now the owner knew exactly what was needed in this modern oasis by the lake so you’ll want for nothing on your next stay.  Equipped with more cool things than any luxury 5 star hotel you’ll never want to leave.  Main house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.  Separate master size studio (which is attached to the house) has one bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette.  Listing price is for the whole home (all 4 bedrooms with 6 beds) but does not include the hidden Mancave / Kids Clubhouse at the back of the property which can sleep an additional 8 people (6 kid on 6 bunks plus a sofa bed for 2 adults. Not to mention all the other fun stuff in the mancave so check out the awesome images below. additional fees apply for use of the mancave/clubhouse). This property truly is a luxury escape with nothing but the best quality finishing’s and furnishings fully loaded with the best views of the lake from the deck and the cool fire pit front yard area with fun for the whole family.


This house is very versatile and wheelchair friendly. The main house has 3 bedrooms with two bathrooms. Master bedroom has a king bed & ensuite, Room 2 has a king bed and shared ensuite. Room 3 has a queen bed plus a double bed on the bottom bunk and a single on the top bunk enough for a whole family.  This area is available for booking on its own being slightly cheaper if you’re not needing the 4th bedroom, please inquire for pricing.


Situated at the back of the house is a self-contained studio featuring another king bed, bathroom and kitchenette. The studio can be hired for a one night stay for up to 2 people separately or can be added to the booking for use to those who are using the main 3 bedroom house also, please inquire for pricing.

Then at the back of the property is the pier resistance. It looks like a normal 8m x 17m shed and carport but the enclosed 8m x 8m shed electric roller doors open up to reveal a Mancave / Kids Clubhouse to rival any Timezone ever built.  Inside, the centerpiece is an 8 person professional Poker Table for the grownups with enough chips to take down the Bellagio Casino in Vegas.  This is surrounded by a pinball machine, Daytona twin seat racing car game, a sit down 60 game arcade table top game with every game imaginable.  We also have a jute box, serious sound system with cd/dvd blue tooth, usb and party mode for all the lights bells and whistles of the party. There is a shuffle board table for the slower paced folks in your party plus an awesome old style authentic poker machine saved form Vegas’s famous Dunes Casino which of course doesn’t work but it looks the part.  This area also incorporates 2 triple bunks sleeping 6 kids in the same room as all of this cool stuff plus a sofa bed for 2 adults. It’s a kids paradise and its yours for just a little extra on top of your stay.  By the way did I mention all of the arcade games are set to FREE PLAY so if you take the mancave your kids will be gone for days in this amazing wonderland of fun.  Also for those who are having a decent quiet gathering we have enough tables and cool white chairs (for a small additional fee) for your mini function to seat 30 guests out under the 9m x 10m covered carport area just outside the mancave. This area also includes a bar area with cool wind barrels and a timber top and small shelf to house your byo.  You can also reverse your wake towered ski boat up the driveway and it will fit under the 3.8m high x 9m wide carport.  In fact if your any good at reversing you could fit 3 trailered boats inside the carport out of the weather and another up the back driveway also. So plenty of room for everyone.   Access to the Manshed / Kids Clubhouse will only be available upon booking the full house (4 bedrooms) and paying the additional fee for the use of this area for your stay.

Check-in time is 2.00pm and check-out time is 10.00am although early arrival and late departure may be requested subject to availability. Any Guests who do not vacate the property by 10am (unless arranged beforehand) will incur a $100 fee. If property is not vacated 3 hrs after the check out time, another nights stay will be charged. *Rates and minimum night requirement varies for Christmas & New Years Holiday season & Easter. Bedding in the house is laid out to accept guests in the following manner:

Room 3 - 1 x Double bunk (double bottom, single up top), sleeps 3

Option Extra: Clubhouse - Two triple Bunk Beds suitable for kids 12 and under only and sofa bed for 2 adults

Local attractions 
Boating - The boat ramp is in Lake Moogerah Caravan Park and they offer free day access. Just visit the office to obtain the gate code. Lake Moogerah at your front door. Water skiing. Fishing in your tinny. Availability to fish on Lake Moogerah will require for you to obtain a fishing permit. You can get this from the Lake Moogerah Caravan Park or online at the Queensland Government website - Purchase a Stocked Impoundment Permit. Mt Edwards walking trail. Ski Zone water ski club . Boonah, Aratula, Kalbar, Mt Alford all 15 minutes away

We have a few options when it comes to booking and paying so please send an enquiry form or call us directly and we will send you our bank details plus other information you will need to make your holiday great. 

The Rent - A fully transferrable but non-refundable deposit of 50% of total tariff (or $200 if total tariff is under $400) will lock in your booking up until 30 days before the first nights stay. The balance of the stay will need to be paid no later than 30 days from the booking date or may be cancelled. Any booking made within 30 days of the rental period needs to be paid in full.  If you are unable to stay on the dates that you originally booked, your stay can be transferred to another date that is available within 12 months of your original booking dates. Only one transfer available per stay and must be requested 14 days of your stay, For bookings in school holidays or Christmas/ New Year / Easter 30 days notice is required.   *Rates and minimum night requirement varies for Christmas & New Years Holiday season & Easter. The Bond - A fully refundable (subject to inspection) bond of $500 via your credit card is required 30 days before your first night stay is required. We offer the refund of the bond within 5 working days of the last nights stay. If there is a discrepancy of the condition of the property, the renter will be contacted immediately to rectify or to come to an arrangement for the costs of the rectification.

Minimum of 2 night stay for weekends with no maximum or ask if we have any deals going. Please note that a valid credit card is required for all bookings at Moogerah Lake House #3. Only Visa and Mastercard accepted - No credit card fees.


Gatherings & Functions:  For any guests planning on a gathering that is over the advertised sleeping capacity of the property, you must make us aware/request permission at the time of booking. While we do aim to accommodate all guest requests the best we can to ensure you have the best getaway, facilities and disruption to neighbors does need to be managed/considered.   Based upon your needs, additional fees may apply for example additional cleaning, hire of tables & chairs, waste removal, the hire of an additional or neighboring house, increased bond or additional septic pump outs just to name a few. Just get in touch with us and we can help work out the most suitable solutions for plans.

Moogerah Lake House #3 is setup to be very easy to get into. Arrange a date, pay the required fees, we send you the key code for the back and front doors and we remotely turn on the hot water and disable the alarm so you can move in with a moments notice just like it was your home.
